Week one!

Fredrik arrived in Brussel airport in the evening! It was so unbelieveable that we were finally about to live together for real! After seven months of waiting, dreaming and hoping, this moment was finally arriving. He was there with only one suitcase (monitor and clothes), and a big box (computer and pillows, pillows are very important). The rest of the afternoon can be easily summed up as follows: Hot weather, sunshine, and cherries. When the evening came we decided to go to a little restaurant / bar (La Pomme) and have a nice dinner and get some drinks, with Wendy's two brothers Thomas and Corentin. After we'd had some nice food and had some mojitos, Thomas and Corentin had some additional whiskey shots, which culminated in Thomas eating a grasshopper, alive.

Notable things happening later this week would be several, like how we went to Ikea and bought the following:

• Computer desk
• Chairs (One for Wendy, one for Fredrik)
• Two shelves for our books
• One shelf for our DVDs and CDs
• One shelf for the bathroom
• Two shelves for general storage
• A nice little lamp!
• Stuff for the kitchen
• More random stuff (like clothespins.)

We set up some of it the same day, and the rest during the following day. We rearranged the whole living room, which now looks fantastic!

All in alll, our new life is just sweet. Instead of beeing stuck behind our screen separated by three countries, one sea and 3000 km, we can now spend our time together, and enjoy life as it should be. This blog will speak about the enjoyable adventure ahead!
